Default Truly slick

Hey, folks,

Now, this is cool: http://www.newversenews.com/

Although I deeply regret line 3!

First draft to appearance in six days, it's a new personal best!

Thanks,

Bill

Cool in a great many ways, Bill. And now we know New Verse News will look kindly on pieces with form and without politics--a good thing to know!

I think Krenov's pieces have been among the ones I've swooned over in my better half's issues of Fine Woodworking. Sad to know there won't be any more.

Adding a link so that others know what we're talking about: Pieces by James Krenov

How does that song go: "Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention."

New Verse News is a fav haunt. Glad to see you posting there, Bill. Fine homage to Krenov.

I love the net! My wife, Kate, sent a note about this to the daughter of the poem's subject. We just got this note back from her:

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your husband's poem with us. As I read the words, I can picture my father's hands, the movement, and I can smell the woods that surrounded him always. I am deeply touched that your husband was inspired to write this graceful poem in my father's honor--I think he captured him beautifully! Please thank him for me, on behalf of the family.

Did I already say I love the net?

Thanks,

Bill
