Blue Unicorn
The new Blue Unicorn just arrived. I am proud to be appearing in it alongside Susan McLean, Wendy Sloan, and Janice Soderling.

Wow, I am proud back, David, to be counted among such illustrous company as you, Susan and Wendy. Congratulations to all of you.
Is there no D. in my name? I didn't see any proofs, and that may be the case since I had a poem there years ago, in 97 or 98 when I was not using the D. initial. (Which stands for Darling, Delightful, Dumbo, Dire, Dopey, Dreadful, Desperate, Dipsy or Daring. Different Dibs on Different Days).
Blue Unicorn is an old and illustrious magazine, been around since 1977. I really would like to see some arts journal do a series about the many editors who have served the poetry world long and well. Even those now-folded journals with hardworking editors who provided venues for many years before folding. A lot of poetry history is found in those pages.

David, Wendy, and Janice, congratulations! I haven't received my copy yet. Could you tell me which poem of mine appears in it?

Thanks, David. That was the poem of mine that was accepted long ago, so I am glad to have it see print at last.

Hi there & thanks -- Susan, David & Janice. Enjoyed your work too.
Just received my copy yesterday (November 28) and hadn't noticed this thread, so it was a pleasant surprise to see "The Long Engagement" included in this issue.
The poem emerged from a competition here initiated by Quincy in response to a debate with Thomas Newton III, among others, on the subject of war & sexual abstinence. I also remember Janet egging me on at the time ...
Nice issue.
