A Small Thank You
A small thank you to David for accepting my poem "A Small Beginning" (a little tribute to A. E. Housman) for publication in the Winter Lucid Rhythms.
A nice place to be seen.
Thanks David
Philip

A small beginning is well begun, I always say, Philip.
Well done, and deserved.

Congratulations, Philip. I'll look for this. Housman is still one of my favorites, ever since reading him as a young teenager.

Housman is mad good. More power per ounce than just about everybody. Not everybody, but just about everybody.
Congrats, Phil.

B****r me!
David just wrote to say he'll take my "Ballerina" too for the winter edition.
Bless his cotton socks (as we say here)
P
Thanks a 1000000 David

Who says size matters?
I'll get them in the bike sheds at break time!
Small - but perfectly formed, I say.

Congrats, Philip,
It's always nice to be appreciated!
But cotton socks? In that climate?
Thanks,
Bill
(who's getting ready for a big snowfall here tomorrow. Time to fly south! )

Congrats, Philip.
I like Lucid Rhythms. David's openness to religious-themed poetry that's not necessarily "religious" is kinda unique, I think. That's where I first read Gail White's "Christmas on Rhodes".

Congratulations, Philip!
I just found out I'm going to have a poem in there, too ("The Mist"), which was workshopped on Met a few months ago. So, my heartfelt thanks to all the folks who helped with polishing it (especially Cally). And many thanks to David for taking it.

Martin, that is fantastic news! I am thrilled for you! One of your best, for me. (Though I think your latest has an excellent chance of finding a good home, too!).
Thank you to David for all his efforts.
Cally
