Hey, folks,
It seems someone was calling for something off the beaten track, a journal outside the habitual roster. So this week, there's news from just such a one. It's called Anemone Sidecar, and it seems to live somewhere in northwest Washington, among the firs and the cedars, hard by the Sound. I believe it's an imprint of Ravenna Press, edited by Katherine Rantala. The format is derived from the world of print, and it seems she's been trying to launch a print version.
While there is much Vers Libre and experimental prose, she's clearly not allergic to pentameter and form, since she included my "Mystery" in the latest issue, whose digital ink is not yet dry (I think it came out Tuesday). This is her fifth issue, so clearly it's an ongoing enterprise.
I do believe such efforts deserve our support, even if it's just in the form of submissions, if we're ever going to expand the universe. Check it out at:

Thanks,
Bill
