Dear Eratosphereans,It's with great pleasure that I introduce our brand new co-moderator for the Metrical forum, Lance Levens! He will be co-moderating with Maryann Corbett who's not only been outstanding at moderating that forum solo, but has equally been so overseeing all of Eratosphere as our Administrator. Lance is one of our most skilled and helpful members, with praiseworthy achievements as can be seen from his bio:
married, two children, 16 and 31
BA Emory University
MA (Latin, U of GA)
Master of Religion (School of Theology at Claremont, CA)
30 years in public schools in Savannah, GA
(Latin, German, Greek and English; taught in International Baccalaureate Program)Published: a. Poetry: Beloit Poetry Review, Raintown Review, at al.; chapbook "Jubilate" Pudding House Press, 2007 b. Fiction: Pushcart Prize nomineee

Welcome, Lance. I will soon start making inappropriate comments in various threads just to test your mettle. They will fall on the borderline of ad hominem but I will employ clever techniques to preserve deniability, such as "if anyone but you had written this, I would call them stupid and immoral, but, coming from you, I suspect the problem may lie with the awkward trochaic substitution in L4."

That's good news Lance. I saw Maryann a couple months ago in Minneapolis, and she was looking awfully, well, thin. Delighted to see you on staff.
