Tilt-a-Whirl
A Poetry Sporadical of Repeating Forms

What rhymes with breasts?

by Mary Meriam

It’s good to know what rhymes with breasts
I wish I’d never seen your breasts

You never know when lines will dance
In girlie pictures in your book

The pirouette of words suggests
My longing for you never rests

It’s good to know what rhymes with breasts
I wish I’d never seen your breasts!

While cruising on poetic quests
But it’s too late for weak protests

While balancing on cliffs and chance
You stripped. I burned. You gave. I took.

It’s good to know what rhymes with breasts
I wish I’d never seen your breasts

You never know when lines will dance
In girlie pictures in your book
