is a theater artist, playwright, and poet. She has focused on performing poetry for the past several years; with electronic music and a back-up vocalist, she has performed at music festivals, readings, art galleries and nightclubs.

She lives in Guelph, Ontario and is the proud mother of three fine young men.

God’s frying me

God’s frying me
in His fry pan: earth
I thought I was already cooked
(been stewing a long time)
but it seems He wants me
tough and leathery
for He likes a good chew

okay then, I’ll take the heat
but a body never gets used to fire
no matter how often you’re thrown in . . .
I just hope He serves me up
with some nice spice and honey
to soften the bite
