Four Riddles

1.
Some of us are funny
but all of us are firm.
The thought of someone picking one
with you might make you squirm.

2.
I lay tracks behind me each time I go north,
and use them for traveling—back and forth.

You can find one on a mushroom
that’s growing on a log,
or wear one when it’s sunny
and you’re out for a jog.

You won’t ever catch me
by sprinting uphill.
You need to move slowly
or simply stand still.
