Fat Sally’s Bottom Line
I’ve rapidly lost interest now, it’s true,
but let me give the credit where it’s due:
I hugged the bottom line till I met you.
And when you said you wanted joint accounts,
I didn’t see you tensing for the pounce
until they started leaking large amounts.
I took a bath, and all my savings shrunk.
You said my ship’s come in—but now it’s sunk.
Your word’s your bond, and both of them are junk.
Scum rises to the top, as well as cream.
You’re not the up-and-comer that you seem.
You’re just a fraud, a one-man Ponzi scheme.
I’m swimming in enough red ink to drown,
so get your sorry assets out of town.
I don’t do layaway with nothing down.
