Travel-lot-city

Come with me to Sligo town.
A ruined abbey’s there
and crypts that spill their jumbled bones.
We’ll scale a winding stair.

Let’s go instead to Hong Kong
and ride for half a mile
on gadabout stairs and sidewalks.
Whoosh with me awhile.

Or better yet, we’ll board a jet
to a land of rime and pine
and schmooze among the Québeçois,
glugging the ice wine.

Join me here in cyberspace.
I’ve got a permanent pass
to visit every land on earth,
virtually, first class.
