That is true, Charlotte. And as if all that wasn't enough, this morning in snail mail, "Avifauna" was accepted at Light for print and their CD, and I got checks for $60 for poems in journals. When it rains, it pours!

Holy moly!

Mary, you're on a roll! A much-deserved one too.
In awe, Siham |
Hey Mary, May it continue to pour! ;)

Wow Mary! Such wonderful news -- congrats on all the successes. You certainly deserve it. I really enjoyed reading "The Seven Crowns of Misfortune." Yes, here's to more!

Thanks again, everyone. One doesn't have Monday mornings like that very often! Slowing reading Poetry Northeast, and very impressed by Melissa Green's poem.

Congratulations, Mary! All three pieces are powerful. About Poetry Northeast, I can't find any info. even at their site -- the "about" link comes up blank. Who's editing it and where? It's a good-looking e-zine.

And congrats to Mary on the recent string of acceptances! Thanks, Nausheen |
At the bottom of the page of Poetry Northeast, there is a small print link that looks like this
(c) 2012 the authors and The Pen& Anvil Press | Email the editors (I have disabled the link in this Eratosphere post.) A click on the first (on the original page) will take you to this the site for Pen & Anvil. A click on the second will give you another broken link. P&A which is the organization that published the defunct Sixty-Six Sonnets and Hawk and Whippoorwill Members can access eratosphericals and learn more http://www.ablemuse.com/erato/showth...ghlight=janice This in no way detracts from Mary's fine work or that she has found a pleasing showcase. Nor should it be interpreted as an insinuation that Poetry Northeast will not have a long and healthy run. I wish it all good fortune. |
