Well done, Mark.
They always gave me the bum's rush. |
Congrats, Mark!
One of my few ambitions is to get something published there. Duncan |
Hey folks,
Thanks so much for the kind words. I tried once before, after hearing it was a good place and got rejected. Something clicked the second time, obviously. So much is luck isn't it? Even being able to write poems is basically luck. It's a very weird business. Matt, I'm now a subscriber, one issue in. I've never subscribed to poetry journals before, but recently I treated myself to this and 'Pn Review'. It's a whole new field and feels quite decadent, what with mouths to feed etc haha. And there are so many! (Poetry journals, not mouths, though there's enough of them). But I tell myself I'm only spending what I used to spend on beer. :) Thanks again. |
Congratulations, Mark! :)

Thanks Jake!
Sorry to bump this up (though I warned that I would) but my copy dropped through the letterbox this morning, so I'm excited all over again. Second poem in print. Cheers all! I'll ride away on my dark horse now... |
The Dark Horse is such a good lit mag. Congrats, Mark! There'll be many more publications to come, I reckon.

I just got my copy too. Great to see your poem in there Mark!
|
Thanks, you two. I just noticed Cally and Dave Mason are in there too!
|
Great news about Vinyl, Sharkey! I remember it well. It must look very fine in print -- I can't wait to get my hands on a copy!
This is an exciting time for you. I'm so happy you're getting poems into the world! Lots of warm, Cally |
Thanks Cally, that's a really nice thing to say. It feels exciting. Dream-like.
Your poem in there is witchily wonderful too. |
