Tim, I would set aside the Hurley and pick up Irby et al.'s Labyrinths, the better and more crystalline translation.

I've just stumbled on this very sad news. This is a great loss. Thanks, Clive,
for the touching post.

Bob was a wonderful poet and translator, and we're lucky that his work and accomplishment will always remain with us. Indeed, he was a great influence at Eratosphere in the earlier years, when he was quite active and did create the occasional stir both from posts of his masterful poems and incisive critique, as with his lively engagements with members; plus he hosted some Distinguished Guest forum events, such as the E.A. Robinson Festival and others. He'll be truly missed.
