While I like to think I translated it well, I'm sure that the appeal of the wonderful Strauss poem itself played a large role in my winning. (Here is some background on the poem). Matt, it will appear in the Evansville Review, but not until next year. The journal only comes out annually. I'm not really clear on whether I can share it online without ticking them off, but I'd be happy to share it privately with anyone who asks by private message.
