Catherine has an uncanny ability to connect the most disparate things, unite and enlarge them from the inside out, but I think what I prize most about her poetry is its fresh-scrubbed playfulness -- her riddles, for example, or some wholly-original, hilarious angle on the absurdities of email. Her work is as she is: irresistibly charming, urbane, and casually genteel.

Anyone who hasn't taken advantage of her recorded West Chester readings at the website is missing out on one uplifting experience!
