Congratulations, Aaron! You are the cat's MEOW!
|
Here is the first press for the book--an interview in The High Plains Reader:
Interview http://hpr1.com/feature/article/a_co...on_poochigian/ I'm happy with how it turned out. Thanks for your interest, Aaron |
Good interview, Aaron. Please look me up when you're in Fargo. Feeney and I just bought a house!
|
Wow, a house--I can see it--a porch with a hammock, and a big fenced-in backyard for the Feenster to run around in. Congrats!
|
Great interview, good luck with the book!

For you Canadians out there still thinking about getting the book, Amazon Canada now has the book on sale at 28% off. From experience, these sales don't last long, so, get it now -- here -- before they revert to full price.
Cheers, ...Alex |
O Canada, O Canada--I will be up near the border tomorrow. I should slip over and get the discount myself.
Here is a interview with Paulette Tobin about my work. It was in today's Grand Forks Herald: http://www.grandforksherald.com/even...roup/homepage/ I've been lucky with press so far. Hope we can keep it up. |
I'm intrigued--and a little dismayed--that the interview focuses almost entirely on the Aratus, rather than the big news, your first collection of original verse. Dan Mahli is trying to round up the Haney boys for all of us to make a pilgrimage up to the Forks tonight, but somehow, I don't think it's going to happen. It's the twins' birthday, and their girl friends have other designs on them. If we don't make it, how about an exchange of hostages at West Chester?
|
Sounds good. Yes, the theme of the conference is "humanimal", and the Aratus "Phaenomena" has the most animals in it. Don't worry--I am going to promote the hell of my book at the reading tonight. Yes, I look forward to trading up at West Chester.
