Good to know that exists. But to use it, I'd have to go to the site, and I'm afraid that I'd accidentally trigger these pesterings (always followed up with several reminders), as so many others seem to have done. Maybe next time it happens, though, I'll take the chance.

I felt the same way. And it took a couple of tries, but it worked. At first I thought it would work only for the particular repeated request. I think I unsubscribed two or three times, each time for a different "person". But now I don't get them at all anymore. In this case, I don't think it is malicious, so much as simply over-eager.
