Regarding context, I think it should be mentioned in this thread (or did I miss it?) that there’s been ample cause for frustration in the fact that Stonewall’s statue is still there despite much legal work to remove it.

So, I can imagine the “gaggle” as possibly more of a foil for the speaker’s frustration than the actual cause of it.

Also, though I don’t LIKE the pun, I think it’s quite loaded.

PS: I’m not sure whether I like the poem, but I don’t think it’s unfair or silly. Will think about it some more.
