This is why no one ever makes me the judge of anything.........How can anyone pick the *best* when they are all so good?
Besides, I dont have any IDEA of how you guys (and I use the term loosely, since you're not all guys) DID this stuff......not a clue.......
Cant ya all just go to McDonald's together or something???
Thirty bucks'll buy a lotta Happy Meals.

I posted all the entries together on Jerry's original post.

Lo - we could do that but it's the airfare that's a killer.

Well, hell, I'll vote for me. It is my birthday after all, and besides I'm awarding photos in the "other" contest so I deserve something, eh?

Well, Robert's vote was the tie-breaker *grin*.

Robert- Email or PM me with the name and phone number of the restaurant, and I'll call them to arrange a gift certificate.

Thanks to all who entered and voted (all six of you http://www.ablemuse.com/erato/ubbhtml/smile.gif ), Perhaps the next one could be more organised, and done anonymously - a la Tipsy Muse? Sharon? Think it could be arranged

Sharon Passmore 10-25-2003 09:13 PM

I think we could do that.

Robt_Ward 10-28-2003 11:20 AM

huh! I just saw this. Thanx, Jerry. I'm a little ashamed of myself, but not all that ashamed.

However, since Sharon's piece is, in my mind, wonderfully imaginative, and since her (and my) home town is currently being surrounded by devastating walls of flame, may I make a request?

Instead of sending me a gift certificate for lunch, could you please make an equivalent donation tot he American Red Cross for the fire relief efforts in Southern California?

Thanks,

(robt)
