Thanks for the comments.
Mind you, I'm done for if Lucy turns out to be an Eastenders fan, since my references are probably out of date - I've not watched it since I taught Media Studies a long while ago. I enjoyed your tale of marital disharmony, Jayne (At first I thought it was going to be about those Huhnes). |
Ah, I could have made it about the Huhnes, couldn't I, George? I didn't think of that; it would have been topical, but then - maybe lots of people will go for that story.
I racked my brains to think of something... um... original/surprising... and surprised even myself with a tale of a having a lousy husband and becoming a lesbian! You can understand why I felt the need to refute both of those situations :D Jayne PS. And as for Eastenders, I don't think you need worry about being out of date - it's almost certainly the same old shit! I really hope you win. I just read your poem to Pete and he roared with laughter. |
What did he say to your poem, Jayne? I hope it didn't worry him.
|
Er... what poem, George?
(He'll get to see it in the unlikely circumstances that I win a prize... otherwise I'm keeping schtum.) Jayne |
