Poets' Prize Award Ceremony in Manhattan
Hey Folks,
For any NYC dwellers, I'll be receiving the Poets' Prize Award and giving a short reading at the Nicholas Roerich Museum, 319 W. 107th St., in Manhattan on Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. Also reading will be Katha Pollitt. Sam Gwynn will be doing the intros! Hope to see you there! Best, Tony |
Terrific news, Tony! Wish I could attend!
Congratulations, Tony. Of late it's been a lot more distinguished than the so-called major prizes.
Very sweet. Thanks, guys!
Tony,
Big congrats. That is the best prize out there, IMO. Enjoy the ceremony. David R. |
Thank you, David!
Warm congratulations. A high-class addition to your list.
Congratulations, Tony - major kudos!
Tony, what's the title and publisher of the book? I know you announced it ages ago, but I've forgotten. I'll get it.
Dear Tim,
It's Tongue of War: From Pearl Harbor to Nagasaki, with BKMK Publishers, distributed by Small Press Distribution. Here's a link: http://www.spdbooks.org/Producte/978...-nagasaki.aspx Also available on Amazon. Thanks so much! Hope you enjoy it. Warmly, Tony |
I may, conceivably, go to this.
Congratulations, Tony. Well deserved.

Have a great time receiving your much deserved award! I am on the other coast, else I would attend :-)
Would be there, Tony, but as of yesterday I have to be out of state for a very elderly woman who flickers in and out of relative health with disconcerting quickness yet who can still read without glasses for brief periods. Next time somewhere ...
Wish I could go! Congratulations again.
Congratulations!
I hope it was a great reading, Tony. Tongue of War is one of my favorite recent books and really deserves recognition! Will YouTube offer us a glimpse?
Congrats, Tony!
