I am excited to announce that Christian Wiman has accepted my little epigram for Alan Sullivan. Thanks to Tim for the title and to the rest of you for helping me fiddle with it.
I now believe that Alan more than any other man in the 21st century has been immortalized in song. |
Congrats, Aaron. That's a major place to land a poem.
Indeed.
No shit? That's great.
Congrats Aaron! That is a perfect home for a tribute to Alan.

Alan's first submission was to Poetry. He sent them one poem, and Parisi took it. Dignum et justem est.
Thanks, fellows. I am pretty excited as well.
Tim, your knowledge of Latin amazes me--that phrase is from the Requiem Mass. It's "dignum et justum est". Your "justem" is a cross between "justum" and Mike "Juster"--just in a way as well. |
Aaron,
let me add my congratulations to the chorus. Martin |
Great! THE BIG ONE. Congratulations.
Congratulations, Signor Pooch. I remember that one well, and it's gonna enhance the pages of the Poetry.
Marvelous, Pooch! Hearty congratulations.
