poem in Literary Imagination
I had a poem accepted by Literary Imagination, and the online version is now available here. Eventually it'll be in the print journal as well, but I'm not sure when.
Editing to add that the poem was inspired by Marianne Moore's "The Pangolin," and that I read it at one of the participant reading sessions at West Chester this year, so a couple of people may recognize it from there. Thanks, Nausheen |
I remember this poem! Inventive and playful. Literary Imagination is to be commended for their excellent taste. :) Congratulations, Nausheen.

Good work, Nausheen!

Wonderful, Nausheen! I love the wordplay in the poem, and the off-kilter assonance. Favorites are "piqued" echoed by "creature," and "unarmed" and "enamored." Lovely!
