Blue Unicorn

The editors of Blue Unicorn have written me that they are holding a submission of mine for a future issue. It was posted and briefly discussed here as I recall.

Ed Shacklee 03-22-2016 03:38 PM

Congratulations, Allen. I subscribe to Blue Unicorn, so I'll keep an eye peeled for your name.

Best,

Ed

LOL, I'm still trying to determine whether "It was posted and briefly discussed as I recall" is Allenese for "Thanks" or "So what do YOU know, all you carping fools who didn't like it?"

Warm congratulations either way!

Susan McLean 03-22-2016 04:47 PM

Congratulations, Allen.

Susan

Well, Ed, the mills of the Unicorn grind slowly, so it may take some time. Can't tell.

Julie, you have an exquisite sense of humidity. I do agree.

Thanks, Susan.

Terese Coe 03-24-2016 06:21 AM

Congratulations, Allen!

Allen Tice 03-24-2016 02:10 PM

Sincere thanks, Terese!

Wendy Sloan 03-24-2016 08:56 PM

Congratulations, Allen.
It will be worth the wait, I'm sure.

Allen Tice 03-25-2016 06:22 PM

Thanks, Wendy. I'm on a train riding to Washington, D.C. and reading a copy of John Whitworth's 'Writing Poetry'. He's good. Better than me.

Janice D. Soderling 03-27-2016 12:18 PM

Applause from Sweden too, Allen. Blue Unicorn is a fine venue.

Allen Tice 03-28-2016 10:27 PM

How can I not love you for this fleeting moment, Janice, after that nice comment, though you live in Sweden and we never, ever, ever agree even a teensy bit on anything at all, and never, never, ever will. Thank you. Be well.

Janice D. Soderling 03-29-2016 05:47 AM

You may not agree with me, but how can you be certain that I never agree with you?

Allen Tice 03-29-2016 09:51 AM

The world is full of illogic. Nonetheless, Janice, if
A. I never, ever, agree with you, and
B. You possibly ever agree with me, then
C. You then might not agree with youself.

If you do ever agree with me, I think you should try hard to be like Peter Ustinov, who said (speaking as the great American president Millard Fillmore), "I am of two minds about the matter, both of which are in agreement."

Then we will agree more, which could be a great thing for everyone.
