In No Man's Ear, R. Nemo Hill, Dos Madres Press
I'm pleased to announce that my new book of poems, In No Man's Ear, is now available from Dos Madres Press, with a foreword by the generously eloquent Andrew Frisardi.
You can order from Dos Madres Press. Or, if you want a signed copy, you can get one direct from me (email me or send me a PM for details). It should be up on Amazon as well shortly. The launch is in the works for Thursday, June 2nd, at KGB Bar in Manhattan. Jee Leong Koh is set to crack the bottle of bubbly over the bow of the paper ship. More info about that later. For now, the book itself. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1647/...88daab59d0.jpg Nemo |
OK Captain! Congrats!

Hear, hear! And ear, ear!
Congrats. Richard |
Looks impressive!

Congratulations, Nemo!

Congrats Nemo. I do like that the ear looks like a question mark. Have a great launch party.

Wonderful news, Sir Nemo!
Excellent. We can now await what we know will be a very good read. Congratulations! |

Thrilling news, Nemo!!!!

Congratulations, Nemo! And great to have an endorsement from Andrew Frisardi; that puts you up there with Dante.

Hey, Nemo, the check is in the mail.
|
I congratulate you upon the release of your new book, for which you may expect my check in the mail.
Speaking of yours, I was intrigued by and about to order Prolegomena. But now I am compelled to add In No Man's Ear to the basket. Best, Erik |
Love the title. Congrats, Nemo.

Thanks, Rick, Richard, Gail, Cathy, Matt, Don, Rob, Michael, Ed, Ralph, Mary, Mike, Siham, Gregory, Charlie, Eric, James. The belly rub is much appreciated.
The book is available on Amazon at this point, but ordering direct from the publisher (or myself) is a more effective way of supporting small independent presses. Nemo |
Just a reminder that the 'event' for In No Man's Ear is fast approaching. The book will be formally launched this Thursday, June 2nd, 7 PM, at KGB Bar, 85 East 4th Street. A poet I greatly admire, Jee Leong Koh (author of the acclaimed Steep Tea, from Carcanet Press), will provide an introduction. Poetry will be read. Books will be sold. Drinks will be drunk. People will chat. Come help celebrate the book's release by Dos Madres Press. It would be great to see any Sphereans within ear's reach in attendance!

That no man sure has an ear— big huge congrats, Nemo.
|
Congrats, Nemo, and enjoy the launch. It's a really fine collection . . . of which I hope some day to actually see a bound and printed copy!
|
Nemo's reading was everything you'd expect. Bravo, Nemo!
|
Wonderful achievement, Nemo ... congratulations!
...Alex |
We would have liked to be there. Salut!
|
Thanks Jesse, Andrew, Rick again, Alex, and Andrew.
Jee Leong Koh's generously eloquent opening remarks are now up on the Singapore Poetry website, here. I just got back from an outdoor crafts fair that ended in severe thunder storms, and have to return tomorrow and pack up the tent and everything else and get out of there during the next round of storms. Back to reality. Nemo |
I haven't been around lately. Belated congratulations for your book and successful launch.
|
Finally got my copy! I must say, it looks great & that's a fine photo you took for the cover, Nemo. First glance brings me "Bird Psalm" & "Ornithologium"--that's quite an image of the captive birds escaping! Looking forward to the rest & congratulations.
