Good one, Ed! I enjoyed the humor and the depiction of depth. Staring at the whirlpool picture started making me dizzy!

Here is a quote falsely attributed to Albert Einstein, but is, I believe, relevant to your poem:

“The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.”

Wonderful, Ed. The repeated refrain is just what you need for a poem that has no bottom but just keeps circling around.
