Here is a link to the second trailer for "American Divine:" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv2T...ature=youtu.be

The images in the first are very strong - the second reads more promo but it works as a promo (it's not horrible).

In terms of image, it's heartening to see a representation of a city that avoids the obvious (the image of traffic taken from above is particularly lovely, they skitter slightly as if they want to make their own paths around the roundabout, tiny automobile desire paths). And the cathedral is beautiful. Did you use drones?

It's hard for me to comment (I'm not from the US) but for me, the images present an idea of the US that I'm not used to seeing. The cathedral as symbolic-as-hidden lost in the city. The city as other, the idea of 'centre' displaced slightly.

Thank you, Sarah-Jane.

yes, I, too, feel that the first film (with the poem recitation) is a stronger film, but we decided to make a more traditional promotional trailer as well.

Thank you for watching these,

Aaron

Both are lovely & I particularly liked the striking visual angles on the church.
