There is a strong and growing movement under way to promote Rhina Espaillat - poet, teacher, immigrant from Latin America - as President Biden's Inaugural poet. That sounds like a wonderful idea; I regard Rhina with admiration and affection. Being in the UK I am unable to make a practical contribution to the movement, but I wish you, and it, strength and success.

Wonderful idea. I've emailed and left voicemails for my Congress member and Senators, in case they have an opportunity to register an opinion on the matter. One of my Senators might... :)

A splendid idea, and I will contribute the strength of my limited arm to the cause...always assuming the whole Inauguration is not sabotaged by Voldemort.
