Eratosphere - Spherians scintillate in LUPO's end of year issue

LUPO 48, the last of the four for 2019, is now up, with the lines of a host of Spherians old and new fluttering and dancing in the December breeze, namely Melissa Balmain, John Beaton, Jerome Betts Terese Coe, Barbara Lydecker Crane, Martin Elster, Sylvia Fairley, Max Goodman, Peter Goulding, Robin Helweg-Larsen, Leslie Monsour, Chris O’Carroll, Martin Parker, Ed Shacklee, George Simmers, Susan de Sola, Robert West and Gail White, as well as New Members Damian Balassone, Julia Griffin Bruce McGuffin and Peggy Landsman.
Their topics range from operations and ailments to the first moon landing, and on the way take in bears, billionaires, Doc Martens, dogs by the dozen, islands, pantomime, pheasants, puffinurkeys, language, licentious licence plates, worms, and writer’s block, not to mention three Spherians as competition winners out of eight to celebrate.
