I've been trying to pay by PayPal.

I remember I had trouble before and believe I paid with a credit card that is, alas, no longer an option. I do have a PayPal account, though, wherein lies a little money for making purchases in Euros and Dollars and getting payments from foreign parts automatically converted to Sterling.

Having clicked the PayPal option, I get a different page asking for a number I can't give because I don't got.

Is it practical to pay by mail? Does money get lost in the conversion of Sterling cheques?

Just made my own contribution. I had no problem, used the we-pay frame and it went right through.
