Georgie Porgie

So: various Democratic senators have just called for Donald Trump to resign. Interestingly, he's only attacked one, Kirsten Gillibrand. To which I say:

Georgie Porgie, pudding and pie
Kissed the girls and made them cry.
When the boys came out to play
Georgie Porgie ran away.

Cheers,
John

Update: As Elizabeth Warren noted, this is also pretty stupid of him.

Yes it all too much. The bullying, the innuendoes, the sorcery of "he said she said". We are being hammered by tactics practiced by the despicables. We are in a void. All of us are being shamed by the shameless.

As the great Lennon & McCartney wrote:

You say, you're putting me on
but it's no joke, it's doing me harm
you know I can't sleep, can't stop my brain
you know it's three weeks, I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got for a little peace of mind.

When my brother was at MIT, one of his professors referred to a gizmo as a pnambic device. The class asked what that was, and he said: "That means, Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." This to my mind is a fundamental DT governance principle: "I am the great and powerful Oz, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."

Cheers,
John

Well, John -- as you might observe from the post which I am about to make, the privileged Lady Senator is sort-of in a "time-out" with me, these days, but I like your rhyme :o

Pnambic sounds about right. How about "very pnambic" shiny things?
