A review in Litro Magazine
Ever since I read a little novel from the 1920s called Skylark years ago I've been interested in Hungarian literature. Although I do read the poetry of Szilard Borbely and a few others, I mostly read the fiction because Hungarian is so far from English I assume they aren't translations as much as they are approximations. Recently, I read two books of short stories that I found intriguing. One is a book by Kristina Toth called Pixels. Each of the stories is a sort of ekphrasic of parts of the body.
The new book of short stories by Zsolt Lang titled The Birth of Emma K is the one I like best. If you want to know why go over to Litro Magazine and read my review. https://www.litromagazine.com/usa/20...rth-of-emma-k/ |
This looks very interesting on first sight, John; I have bookmarked :)
