Sphere connection problems

Anyone else having problems logging on?
I have had only sporadic connections for the past few days.

Same here.
But working for the moment.

It's worth noting that some posted comments are also being deleted. Here's hoping all will soon be resolved.

Cheers,
John

I started a thread a couple of hours ago, called Strange Goings-on at Eratosphere.

That thread has completely disappeared! The last time I looked, it had no replies but 38 views. Now all trace of it has vanished, goodness knows how!

In it I said that I've emailed Alex but have not heard back from him yet; we're on opposite sides of The Pond, remember.

I haven't the faintest idea what's going on, I'm afraid, but it's clearly something very serious. Even though I'm an Administrator, I only deal with day-to-day admin stuff. It's Alex who runs this site and I have no control, or knowledge, of how it's done, so I can't help with technical problems.

I'm extremely worried, I can tell you. We just have to wait to hear from Alex.

And the third page of a thread on D&A has disappeared AGAIN.

Oh, frabjous day!

All is well again, folks, thanks to Alex and all his hard work. The hackers nearly won this time, which is worrying; please lend your (financial) support to Alex in any way you can, here, to assist him in the fight against the would-be destroyers of our precious community.

I've been having problems accessing Eratosphere. Seems to be working now, however, at least one critique I made on a poem in Metrical (Quebec) has disappeared, along with the other critiques on that poem.

Apologies to everyone for the recent site problems and especially, the lost of the latest posts. Things should be back to normal now. But what happened? See this thread!

Cheers,
...Alex

Thank you, Alex. And bless you for all your hard work and persistence on our behalf.

You are a hero, Alex. I just contributed a poet's mite to the website (at least I think I did).
