Dear Poets and Colleagues,

I'm sorry, but please understand -- Timothy Murphy finds it excruciatingly difficult to type, and of course, if you know anything at all about terminal cancer and hospice care, then you understand, they flatten you with pain killers and drugs for the transition into death. He asks only that we pray his end is easy. He is facing it with incredible grace and courage. He appreciates tremendously your outpouring for him here, and I thank you, on his behalf.

I am now stepping into my role as administrator and agent of his literary estate. Henceforth, please send all requests for his unpublished work, permissions to reprint, etc., directly to me at: reeserjennifer@gmail.com

One more thing. I see the "Prayers for Tim" thread. These comments are very sweet, very much valued, but I am afraid that Tim is simply not able even to read them. He is completely unable to navigate the Internet now. But I am in contact with him and his family, and I will continue to pass along your well wishes.

I intend to call Tim and read him every single message on my "Prayers for Tim" thread that he hasn't already read; so I hope Alex will not lock my thread, and that Tim's friends will continue to send him their thoughts and prayers.

I'm absolutely delighted to see that you're going to read all of our messages to Tim. This thread is for info from Jennifer only, not for Tim's eyes...

I wanted to update, to assure those who have sent solicitations that, yes, I also will be making submissions of his unpublished works, on his behalf, never fear. Tim and I are in talks about it now -- "weeding," as it were. More to come, I am sure...
