I'm starting a thread in order to experiment. I want to see if it's possible to move, not a whole thread, but just one post, to Eratosphericals, and where on that board it's possible to move it to.

Two experiments confirm that there's no built-in way to leave a redirect from a moved post. If one is going to move a post, one has to re-post an explanation. Another way is to edit out the text, move it to Eratosphericals, and leave an explanation in its place.
