28 sonnets in Rattle
Hey Folks,
Some of you have seen a bit of what I've been doing with sonnets based on classic pulp fiction, comic books, and b-movies; happily, the next issue of Rattle is going to publish the longest sequence in the book, a short story in 28 linked sonnets, along with four of my etchings and monoprints. It's nice that some journals are still publishing long poems and sequences! All Best, Tony |
Wow...that's incredible news, Tony! Glad to hear it!
Many of us tried (real hard!) in vain to get single sonnets into that issue. That you managed to get a 392-line sonnet sequence in there is a revelation. Well done! |
That's really impressive. Congrats!

Marvelous, that is quite an accomplishment. Sonnet sequences forever (just make them shorter than Shakespeare's).

I'll say it's nice. Congratulations!

Marvellous and incredible and well, there ain't no words to express it!
