The Barefoot Muse Inspires Yet Again
Hey all,
Check out the September 2010 issue of The Barefoot Muse for excellent work by the likes of Featured Poet Jehanne Dubrow, as well as Frank Osen, Maryann Corbett, Peter Austin, C.E. Chaffin, Eric Norris, Bruce W. Niedt, and others. The issue also includes translations from Susan McLean and A.Z. Foreman, as well as Rick Mullin’s review of Jehanne Dubrow’s Stateside. To boot, the Muse’s editor, Anna Evans, has a look at an iconic poet in her essay, “Beneath Your Moon, Almighty Sex: the Love Sonnets of Edna St. Vincent Millay.” Oh, and we’re back open for submissions, so send us more excellent poetry to chew on. Propitiate the Muse! (See the Guidelines page for specifics.) Thanks, all! Nicholas Friedman Assistant Editor – The Barefoot Muse |
Hi Nicholas
Just want to say that the reason that this thread hasn't got any congratulatory posts is probably because it had an earlier sister thread at http://www.ablemuse.com/erato/showthread.php?t=11713 Also, I want to tell you that your maiilbox is full. Janice |
Thanks, Janice. I haven't been hanging around the boards much lately, as I've been quite busy. That's why I didn't notice the sister thread.
Thanks for the note about my mailbox. NAF |
