Julie and Me
 

Once again, we prove that Sphere members have actual bodily existence, even when not at West Chester. At least, if this business of attaching a photo has worked.

This should be a photo of me with Julie Stoner, who was visiting inlaws in Woodbury MN and who drove to Trotter's in St. Paul (and found it, in spite of Google Maps!) and enjoyed a long conversation with me and John (who took the picture).

That is so cool, that you Spherians can get together in real life. Thanks for letting us share. It feels kinda special to have faces to the names.

I'm very sorry, but it is not an official picture unless it is taken at West Chester, and includes at least three people whom nobody can identify.

I'd seen pictures of Maryann before, but this is my first glimpse of Julie, who is nothing like I pictured her (though I'd be hard pressed to say that I actually pictured her at all, rather than regarding her as a disembodied source of wonderfully engaging letter patterns across my screen). Thanks for posting!

I wouldn't know any spherians if I bumped into them in the street (with the exception of my friends John Whitworth and George Simmers) so it's really nice to be able to put a face to two names. (And you have a very kind face, Maryann, exactly as you come across from everything you write here.)
