Light Verse Bake-off deadline extended, but hurry!
 

Hello everyone,

I'm travelling to Edinburgh for a couple of days so I've extended the deadline for entries to the Light Verse Bake-off. I won’t be able to deal with them until I get back home, so you now have till midday on Wednesday 8th August (British Summer Time) to send me your offerings. I’ll be collating all the entries and forwarding them to our Distinguished Guest judge Julie Kane in the afternoon.

If you've submitted four poems already you can sit back and relax. If you haven't, please get cracking! :)

This is a fun event; there's no prize for the winner – but lots of kudos. Just to remind you: up to 4 poems each, any length, and previously unpublished please (workshopped here is OK). Email them to: lightversetojayne@gmail.com

I’m acknowledging receipt of all entries, so you’ll get a confirmation email from me (in a few days' time). I hope there’s a big pile waiting when I get back from Bonnie Scotland! :D
