It rings a bell. Was she the one who put up that silly "debauchee of dew" poem a few years ago, with all the biological misinformation, and after posting only thirteen crits? And didn't take our advice on the rewrites? Good riddance!

I especially liked, "Is there another poem behind this one that needs to be written?"

I don't see a TDE ref?

Something must have been disappeared before I got there. Or I am unusually dense this morning. Maybe I should stop and get going on the coffee.

Janice, I was trying to crack a yoke: my pre-coffee humor, sorry. The page just shows E.D. "workshopped"; I added the TDE part.

As I recall it, Janice, you were the one who told her that it wasn't a Deep End poem. This was immediately after somebody else said it was "brilliant", and I think another member - darned if I can remember who - said that he read it to Richard Wilbur, and Richard Wilbur said, "Who is calling, please?" Don't you remember the incident?

And then she went on her blog and wrote a scathing expose' of Eratosphere's impolite, cliquey, dismissive "senior members."
