Cally in VQR

Some good news here:

http://www.vqronline.org/articles/20...davies-strife/

I'm happy to report that she also has two new poems forthcoming in The Hudson Review, five in The Sewanee Review and one in The Southwest Review. She also has the stunning cover photo of the next issue of Angle.

Strife is a goddess -- a goddess, too, I should say -- isn't she? What a great poem. Congrats!

Thanks for the link, Dave, and how great that VQR put that one online. The parade of successes goes on! Congratulations to Cally.

Actually, I have to add something, because now I see that ALL the content of this issue is online (how long have they been doing that?) and that there are poems by Hadas, Gioia, and Baer as well. I need to get reading.

Great work. "I blaze along the error" is a marvelous line.

That's a lotta classy venues. Am I surprised? No.

Great work, Cally! If only a poem of this quality had been read at the Inauguration...

WOW. I go down to the beach for a few hours, and look what happens!! I had NO IDEA this was out, or anywhere near ready for publication!

Well - let me take a breath! You know what I am most thankful for??? That they put it online so you guys can read it, too!!! I thought it was only print.

I'm thrilled they took a poem with "Sydney" in it!!!

I can't wait till you see the Sewanee and Southwest ones - there are some in there you've never seen before!

I can't believe this is happening. I think I need a glass of wine.

Thanks SO much everyone!!! I'm thrilled you like the poem!

Cally
