In light of frequent discussions on critiquing and writing free verse poems,
we've provided a checklist of points to use as guidelines.
Its purpose is to help stay focused on multiple elements of the poem.
Of course, not all aspects need to be mentioned in every crit but it is helpful to keep these points in mind:

Sensory level/Aesthetic appeal
Ideational level / theme
Factual level
Sonics/ Cadence/ Rhythm
Meter, where applicable
Syntax/ Diction/ Word Choices
Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling
Linear Pattern/Stanza pattern/line breaks.
Style/ relationship to various poetic schools
