New Moderator Announcement

Dear Eratosphereans,

It's my pleasure to announce Rob Wright as the new moderator for the Fiction Poetry forum. He'll be replacing Tim Love--the first and only Fiction forum moderator we've had thus far--who's leaving the role for personal reasons.
Rob Wright has been a regular contributor to the magazine Big City Lit since 2001. He was awarded Fellowships in Literature from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts in 2005 and 2007, and has been twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize. His poetry has been published by Schuylkill Valley Journal of the Arts, and in the magazines Big City Lit, and Able Muse. His fiction has been published by Able Muse. He has read his poetry at the First Person Arts Festival in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, and at the Gotham Book Mart, and the Cornelia Street Cafe in New York City. In 2013, he was a finalist in the annual Robert Frost Foundation Prize.
I am positive that our Rob will do a excellent job sustaining and advancing the Fiction forum, and the work posted and critiqued there.

Please join me in giving a warm Eratosphere welcome to Rob!

Cheers,
...Alex

I'm one of Rob's big fans and this is good news indeed.

I can add, as a Europe-related item, that Rob was shortlisted for his poetry at the Bridport Competition this year. And that ain't as simple as it might sound. The competition is stiff with a capital S.

I also want to thank Tim who has manned his post so loyally and helpfully for so many years. And neither is that as simple as it sounds.

My best wishes to you both.

Capital!

Great news that Rob is manning this stubborn little Fiction corner.
Sad news that Tim is departing as guardian. Nevertheless, Tim's Litrefs blogs remain a thought-provoking resource. Thanks Tim for your perseverance and quiet inspiration.

Thank you Tim for your service, and welcome Rob.

It's hard to know which thread to post on, rather like the "Sphere donation" thread, so I'll go for this one!

It's sad to see Tim go, but a Big Welcome to Rob all the same :)

hearty congrats, Rob!

Thanks so much Alex for inviting me to come on board. And thanks to Janice, Steve, Tim, Jayne, and Seree for the warm welcome. It's good to be welcomed by people whose work I have admired for some time. I look forward to your posts and comments.

Rob

Welcome aboard, mate! Look forward to having you with us.

Welcome aboard, Rob!

I'm sad to see Tim go, though. His criticisms of a few mediocre flash pieces that I posted were spot on.

Good choice, Alex.

Rob, congratulations! Looking forward to your invigoration of the fiction board, your input and your stories.

Tim, thank you for keeping fiction going for so long. Your comments and suggestions were always appreciated.

Donna
