Not my poem : about a 2,070 year-old poem
At the end of this paragraph is a link to the abstract of a short paper I will deliver at Baylor University in Texas (April 2-5, 2014) during the 110th annual meeting of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS). The paper's title is "Bona Dea Scandal Echoes in Catullus 63." At the time of making this link, some trivial flaws exist on the server holding the abstract. However, the flaws [such as they are] accidentally highlight one auditory facet of my arguments, and also some archeological reporting that may refer to a seemingly gratuitous phrase about a lion in Catullus 63 (link).
Hope to see you in Waco, Texas in April! |
