In the Mist is a new electronic literary journal about women and the outdoors. One of my Katrina poems, "Where the Pines Went" has been accepted for their environmental awareness issue, to be published in April. They are also holding a few more of my poems for possible publication in the second issue (whenever that is). Looks like a terrific publication. Every molecule in my body started screaming "Take me hiking, Janice!" It's been a while, cause we've had downpours pretty near every day this summer.

I'm glad you like the new journal. When I first heard about it, I knew I had to submit. I am not an outdoorswoman, per se (though I wish I were) other than the occasional moderate hike or canoe trip, but I grew up near woods and live and garden in a relatively woodsy area.
