Jayne and The Oldie
 

Jayne is stranded in the wilds of savage Yorkshire - that's where Heathcliff used to live. They don't have wi-fi in Yorkshire or not wi-fi that works, so though she has all the gen on the Oldie Veggie competition she cannot get it to you until next week when she returns to civilisation. Suffice to say that I didn't win and neither did you.

By Tuesday all will be well.

Apart from the shameful and disgraceful (on the part of The Oldie, that is) fact that none of us won.

All last week I was cut off with no mobile phone signal and no Wifi, which was bizarre. I've exhausted myself on the walking holiday but the scenery was wonderful. Now I'm in another part of Yorkshire for a poetry conference till Monday... and this hotel has connectivity with the outside world! :)

I'll post The Oldie comp results when I get back home.
