For any sonnet lovers -- one of my poems is currently a feature piece at "Goodreads," a site for authors and avid readers to list and discuss their reading interests.

It's entitled "Mark My Words," was originally published in Botteghe Oscure, and is the lead-in poem of a manuscript currently under consideration for my third book, Sonnets from the Dark Lady and Other Poems.

This site is phenomenal, by the way, membered by many terrific writers you might recognize. A first-class presentation, and charged content. I highly recommend this place. The URL is:

Nice work, Jennifer! And yes, that DOES look like a great site! Actually, I've been hoping to come across a site like this for quite some time -- sort of a literature equivalent to IMDb for movies.

I think I know what I'll be doing for some of today.

I like Goodreads, but rarely have the time to linger there.

Jennifer, your sonnet--which I like very much--is, for me, evocative of Millay.

Sign yourself up, Shaun! Last year, TIME Magazine ranked Goodreads #5 on its "Top Ten Websites" list.

Diane, I don't take that lightly, coming from you. It's encouraging to know you enjoyed it.

Congratulations, Jennifer!
And what a wonderful idea to write sonnets from the Dark Lady! I'll be looking forward to that book.

Done!

I spent a few hours this morning combing through my bookshelves and listing as much as I could. I haven't really started on my poetry bookshelf yet though...that's going to take awhile.

Thanks, Gail, and cross your fingers for me. This manuscript also contains the hurricane poems.

I can't find the link to your poem, Jennifer. Can you help?

Bob, I'm so sorry to be late -- yesterday was non-stop.

Janice, thank you, ma'am. If you all will notice the nifty two icons there for Alabaster Flask and Winterproof, remember Christmas is coming...

Buy a book. Feed a child ;)
