I just saw that Russell Edson died this past week. Wonderful writer. He'll be missed. Check out the recordings of him reading (in Amherst, Mass., 1979), here. At that same page, there's a link to an interview with him.

Sad news indeed. He is one of my "prose poem/flash fiction" role models.
