Paddy, you are new, so I suppose you haven't yet learned that Eratosphere doesn't permit entering one's own poems in any thread outside the criticism threads (TDE, Met, Non-met, Translation, Fiction).

So you should erase this little verse in your post above (or ask a mod to remove it), but by all means send it to the One-Sentence-Poems venue as indicated in my first post. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Janice, I really did not intend it as a one sentence poem at all...I apologize if you took it that way.

First, I should have stated I liked the original poem...I don't consider my reply a poem even...A rambling perhaps? Second, my reply was simply a mathematical answer to the original question asked in the poem.

Buddhists believe in reincarnation, but don't particularly believe in a "God."

The moderator, by all means can delete the post. No worries.
