My New Book

Hi, folks. Fragments of a Nocturne just came out in the past month from White Violet Press. Karen was a dream to work with, from start to finish, and I’m very pleased with the final product.

There are other Spherian connections, too. Many thanks to Cally for writing a wonderful jacket blurb, to those members who edit or edited journals where poems first appeared, and to those who provided feedback on poems workshopped here.

Feeling quite happy about this!

Bravo, Mark!!! Huge congrats on this one! Can hardly wait to get my copy.

This is a book I will be ordering. Long awaited!

Best,

Ed

P.S. "Here is a poet offering 'Warmth to all life' without denying either its violence or its beauty. For Blaeuer, the world deepens through being seen as it is. He listens to the earth, and it sings for him."

Congratulations, Mark.

Congratulations from me, too, and my order is in.

Congratulations, Mark! I don't think that "quite" happy is quite enough for this accomplishment!

Charlotte Innes 10-17-2014 03:05 PM

Congrats, Mark! It's good to hear (again) that Karen is doing a great job over at White Violet Press.

Siham, Ed, Marcia, Maryann, Jean, Charlotte, and Nausheen—

Thank you, so much, for your kind comments. I value them a great deal, since I know what fine poets you are. Although I don't post here very often, I nonetheless perceive the Sphere as a place I "somehow haven't to deserve.”

Separate thanks to those of you who order the book. I'm honored by that. I always have a special regard for volumes (in my own library) that were written by Spherians.

Mark
